LORD,
HELP ME MAKE IT
Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a
moment; in his favour is life;
How many times have we read this verse, prayed, and went to sleep, thinking that everything would be alright when we got up. Only to find that we are still weeping in the morning, in fact we feel worse than the night before. We think of night as the time the sun goes down until the time the sun comes up. That’s man’s physical night, not God’s spiritual night. God’s word says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). What is the night? If your
bills need to be paid and the money is short, If your
child has strayed away, If your
friends have turned their back on you, If your love
one is sick and the doctor’s have given up, If
everything is going wrong on the job, If you
have troubles in your home If your
family has forsaken you, If doors
keep closing in your face If all hell
has broken loose in your life If you
can’t understand why you are going thru, what you are going thru, How long is the night? Your night will be as long as you allow it to be. You see some of us can’t get through to God in the day. I say this because so much goes on in the daytime, your jobs, your friends, your family, personal problems. Sometimes we can’t focus the way we need to in the day. Some things have to be worked out in the night.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto the God, (Acts 16:25) The word says Jacob wrestled with God, in the night, but before he wrestled with God he had to be alone. The word says… And Jacob was left alone: and there wrestled a man
with him until the breaking of the day. And
when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his
thigh: and the hollow of Jacob’s
thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
And he said Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except though bless me.
Scripture Gen 32:24-26 It’s nighttime, do as Jacob did send
everyone away. He was left
alone, he needed to hear from God, and he needed
to hear from him now. When you need to hear from the Lord, you have to
get alone. To move into the next
realm of what God wants you to do, get alone, to break the curse that satan has
on your family, get alone. Family and friends can get in
your way with all their wonderful advice, but when you need God to move on your
behalf, you have to get alone. You see
if you want to get to the joy in the morning you have go through the night. Getting through the night is not always easy. You see what Jacob went through in the physical, you will be going through spiritually. The word says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”, The rulers of the darkness of this world (sounds like the night to me) You will have to cry out to the Lord… Father it’s dark I can’t see my way. Help me make it through this night. You say, well Lord how do I fight what I can’t see? The Lord says the battle is not yours it’s His. But minister you just said I had to fight. Your fighting means to resist the devil and he will flee, your fighting means to stand on God’s word, your fighting means to close the door, take the phone off the hook, turn the TV off, turn down the plate, your fighting means to getting naked before the Lord. You need a break through and you need it tonight. You will have to be willing to send everyone away to make it through the night. You will have to say for God I live and for God I will die to make it thru the night. You see this is your night. This is your night for your miracle. And you have to be willing to make sacrifices in order to reach the Lord. Tonight we wrestle. Come before the Lord just as you are, broken, weary, wounded and sad, in other words naked. Because God sees all and knows all, there is nothing you can hide. Some come naked and not ashamed. Don’t let the enemy convince you that there is no forgiveness for what you have done. The only way I will win this fight is total surrender to the Lord, to lay down your weapons, or what you thought were weapons. You know the name-calling, the backbiting, the gossiping, the hatred, being a busybody, the unforgiveness, and most of all pride. Lay aside every weight that so easily besets you. Then pick up his breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the spirit, and have me feet shod with preparation of the gospel of Christ, and above all the helmet of salvation and go into my secret place and stay there, and cry, wrestle it out before the Lord Don’t move until He blesses you. If you are not willing to go through to get your blessing, stop calling on Jesus. If you just want to say a microwave prayer, then expect a microwave blessing. If you want a blessing that will last and last and last, you’ve got to put in some crock-pot praying. That right I want a blessing that’s going to taste oh so good. And to get that, you have got to put some time in. That’s right you will be good and tender by the time you come out of your prayer room. Because you will be crying out… Lord I know a better day is
coming… I know one
day every day will be like Sunday, I know
lord you move in mysterious ways, I know all
things work together for those that love the lord, I know
I need to wait on the lord and be of good courage, My
friends have turned their backs on me, I know that
earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal, I know you
know how much I can bear, I know there
is a bright side somewhere, You said you would supply all my
needs, Lord
darkness is all around me and I can’t see my way, You see somewhere between halle and lujah is your blessing. So you must pray until you know what you know, what you know, what you know. Tonight we wrestle. The Lord will move. When come out of your room you will know you have the answer. Although you don’t see it, you believe it, and you had better start praising Him for it. If not, the enemy will make you believe you didn’t receive it. Once you start praising and thanking Him for it, it’s received in your spirit. You must receive it in your spirit first, before it will manifest itself in the natural. And when you have that blessing in your spirit, there is nothing the enemy can do about it. Be fearless at this point, be like Abraham, and stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief; but be strong in faith, giving glory to God. And be fully persuaded that, what he has promised, he is able to also perform. (Rom 4:21) You have got to be willing to hold on to the thing that you have prayed for with everything that is inside of you. The enemy is going to try and make you take back your confession of faith, but you must be willing to hold on. When it looks like he won’t
show up… hold on When you
friends turn their back on you…hold on When what
you see tells you to give up… hold on When your
family won’t come thru for you… hold on When you don’t know what to do…
hold on When you
can’t see your way…. hold on You may have
to walk the floor all night… hold on Hold on the Lord has heard
your prayer, and your blessing is on the way.
There is a battle going on in the spirit realm, don’t give up now.
What God has for you no man can stop. The prince of darkness is trying to stop your blessing.
Stay before me. I know how it is when time goes by and nothing happens, and our friends start to talk. We began to feel that the Lord has forsaken us, and just when we are about to give up, just when we began to feel like all hope is gone, in other words just when we finally turn it loose, the Lord will send someone by with a word to let us know that He heard our prayer like he did with Daniel. For 21 days the enemy delayed the word, but Daniel stayed before the Lord, then the word came…. Daniel 10:12-13 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before they God, thy words were heard, and I am come for they words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but, lo Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me;
It’s not that the Lord can’t send it to you now, but are you ready to receive His blessing? Sometimes we asked for things that we are ready to receive. You must be ready to receive your blessing from the Lord, if not you will lose it as soon as you get it. God will watches over His word to perform it. His word can’t return to Him void. Are you ready,, are you ready to receive your blessings? Have you put your time in? Have you got it right with the Lord?
EULOGY Well then it’s time to have a funeral over you problems. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust… Say it with me…. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword. Nay in all
these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I
am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, no angel, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any
other creature, shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in

FOOTPRINTS..
A NEW VERSION Imagine
you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together.
For much of the way, the Lord's footprints go along steadily,
consistently, rarely varying the pace. But your footprints are a disorganized
stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.
For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints
come more in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling His consistently. You and
Jesus are walking as true friends!
Gashes in the sand. A variable mess of prints. You are
amazed and shocked. Your dream ends. Now
you pray: "Lord, I understand the first scene with zigzags and fits. I you." " That is correct." " ... And
when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to
walk in Your steps; followed you very closely." "Very good. You have
understood everything so far." " When the smaller footprints grew and
filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like you in every way."
"Precisely." "So,
Lord, was there a regression or something? The footprints separated, and this
time it was worse than at first." There is a pause as the Lord answers with
a smile in his voice. "You
didn't know? That was when we danced."
