HOLD
ON OLD SOLDIERS
Eph
6:13-17
Wherefore
take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the
evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt
about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet
shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield
of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked. And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
You
are more than a conqueror. You
belong to me. I know that storms will rise. They are created for a reason,
listen for my voice. I have not
left you. You must tell Satan he is a liar, you must. He will flee. You have but
to ask, and I will supply. Have
faith in Me.
My
weary soldiers:
It’s January, and already the enemy is on his job trying God’s people.
We must stand and refuse to allow him to push us around like he did last
year.
How many times are we going to allow the Devil to rob you
of your finances, and you take it without fighting back?
How many times are we going to allow the Devil to come into
your home and rob you of your children through drugs and alcohol, and you take
it without fighting back?
How many times are we going to allow the Devil to come into
your home and place sickness and disease upon you, and you take it without
fighting back?
How many times are we going to allow the Devil come into
your home and cause strife and division, and you take it without fighting back?
How many times are we going to allow the Devil to come into
your home and steal the affection of your wife or husband and give them to
another, and you take it without fighting back?
Why is this happening day after day in
"Christian homes?
Why? I will tell you why, because we don’t recognize that the enemy is a
highly trained and skilled warrior whose only purpose is to come into your home
to "steal, kill and destroy" every thing that he can that belongs to
you! You need to recognize that Satan and his evil forces hate you with a
passion and they are "hell bent" on destroying you, your health, your
family, your home, your finances, your marriage, you children, and on and on and
on, until you are destroyed.
We need to change our attitude. For too long our attitude has been, to be
"wise as serpents, but harmless as doves." Jesus is wise to all the
tricks of the Devil, and He was harmless as a dove to all the poor lost souls
who had been taken captive by Satan and had been beaten down all their lives in
and through his control over them. BUT! Jesus WAS NOT
"harmless as a dove" when it came to confronting and combating Satan
and his forces! Was He a harmless dove when He chased the moneychangers out of
the temple? NO! Jesus was then and is now a heavenly warrior who knew how
to fight His enemy with "brute force" using the Word of God (the Sword
of the Spirit) and won every time.
It is time that we learned to be more like Jesus. It is time that we developed a
warrior spirit and go on the attack, rather than allowing the enemy to come to
us and attack and attack until we are overcome and broken and taken captive The
weapons of our warfare ARE NOT carnal (powerless, earthly), but POWERFUL
to the pulling down of strongholds. 2
Cor 10:4
Take the shield of Faith which is able
to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. Eph 6:16
Submit yourself to God, resist the Devil and he will flee from you. James
4:7
I am sick and tired of all the evil the enemy is doing to me, my family and my
church locally. I am even more enraged as see what he is doing to my relatives,
my extended family, and the "church". I asked the Lord to give me a "Warrior Spirit" to
fight against all that the enemy stands for and to compel me to win the battle!
I have asked the Lord to show me all the spiritual weapons at my disposal, and
how to use all of them with the most power, skill and force possible to fight my
enemy! This is my prayer for all the members of the Body of Christ.
You must stop allowing the enemy to come in and overcome you and your
family! Stop allowing the Devil to so come in and take away your
health and happiness! Stop allowing the Devil to come in and rob you of all that
makes life enjoyable!
Pick up your spiritual weapons and fight like the man or woman of God that called you to be. You are powerful in and through the Holy Ghost living within you. You are mighty, to the "pulling down of strongholds" of the Devil in your life.You are fearsome to the Devil when you know who you are in Christ and begin to speak the Word of God like Jesus did, because it will destroy the works of your enemy!
Get angry at the Devil! Learn
to HATE him! Learn to FIGHT him with all that you've got in the Lord, and you
will see that you are no longer the victim, but a VICTOR! He will begin to fear
you because of God that resides within you, because he cannot overcome Him! Get
up each day and go to God to get your marching order. Go forth each day with the
power and strength of God Almighty, and you will win every battle that you
enter.
I pray that this will set you and your family free from the shackles of the
enemy. I pray that when you get up in the morning the enemy will run from you.
I pray that when you wake each day, the Devil and his forces be the ones
to say, "Oh no, they’re awake. What are they going to do to me today? How
much damage are they going to do to me and my kingdom today, through their Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ?"
No longer are you weary, but might in my name. Awake My Church and FIGHT!
PUSH
UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS
A
man was sleeping at night in his cabin when
suddenly
his room filled with light. The Lord told
the
man he had work for him to do, and showed
him
a large rock in front of his cabin.
The
Lord explained that the man was to push
against
the rock with all his might. So, this the
man
did, day after day. For many years he toiled
from
sun up to sun down; his shoulders set
squarely
against the cold, massive surface of the
unmoving
rock, pushing with all of his might.
Each
night the man returned to his cabin sore
and
worn out, feeling that his whole day had been
spent
in vain.
Since
the man was showing discouragement, the
adversary
(Satan) decided to enter the picture by
placing
thoughts into the weary mind: "you have
been
pushing against that rock for a long time,
and
it hasn't moved."
Thus,
giving the man the impression that the task
was
impossible and that he was a failure. These
thoughts
discouraged and disheartened the man.
Satan
said, "Why kill yourself over this?" "Just put
in
your time, giving just the minimum effort; and
that
will be good enough." That's what he planned
to
do, but decided to make it a matter of prayer
and
take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.
"Lord,"
he said, "I have labored long and hard in
your
service, putting all my strength to do that
which
you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I
have
not even budged that rock by half a
millimeter.
What is wrong? Why am I failing?"
The
Lord responded compassionately, "My friend,
when
I asked you to serve Me and you accepted,
I
told you that your task was to push against the
rock
with all of your strength, which you have
done.
Never once did I mention to you that I
expected
you to move it. Your task was to push.
And
now you come to Me with your strength spent,
thinking that you have failed.
But,
is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms
are
strong and muscled, your back sinewy and
brown,
your hands are callused from constant
pressure,
your legs have become massive and
hard.
Through
opposition you have grown much, and
your
abilities now surpass that which you used to
have.
Yet you haven't moved the rock. But your
calling
was to be obedient and to push and to
exercise
your faith and trust in My wisdom. This
you
have done.
Now,
my friend, I will move the rock."
At
times, when we hear a word from God, we tend
to
use our own intellect to decipher what He wants
when
actually what God wants is just a simple
obedience
and faith in Him. By all means, exercise
the
faith that moves mountains, but know that it is
still
God who moves mountains.
When
everything seems to go wrong ...

When
your money is "gone" and the bills are due.

POTATOES,
EGGS AND COFFEE BEANS
Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her
life was miserable and
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled Three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.
Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot,
eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil, without saying a
word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty
minutes he turned off the burners. He pulled the eggs out and placed them a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he
asked. "Daughter, what do you see?” Potatoes, eggs, and
coffee," she hastily replied. "Look closer", he said, "and touch the
potatoes."
She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take
an egg and break it.
Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a
smile to her face.
"Father, what does this mean?" she asked.
He then explained that the potatoes, The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its
liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were
exposed to the boiling water, "Which are you," he asked his daughter.
"When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are
you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? " |
