SHAKE IT LOOSE

 

Genesis 32:24-26 NIV "24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.  When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.  Then the man said, Let me go, for it is daybreak. But Jacob replied, I will not let you go unless you bless me"

Most of us have used a vending machine in our lives.  We see exactly what we want and we get our money ready to purchase it. We put the money in and wait with anticipation as it starts itching forward, and just as we open the door to get it…. it stops.  Just inches away from dropping; from falling into our hands.  It just sits there dangling, in mid-air by the corner of the package.  And if it’s something we really had our mind set on (we can already taste it), then most times we are not going to leave without trying to get it loose. We will stay right there until we find a way to shake it loose.  It all depends on how badly we wanted it.  Sometimes we may have given up, but most of the time, we found a way to shake it loose.

Is this where you are right now?  I’ve been there.  Trying to decide if it’s worth giving up, or standing your ground and shaking it loose.  Some of you have been and are on the edge of breakthroughs in your lives. You have been praying and fasting; you have spent time with God; you have been binding and loosing, you have let your request be made known.  You had even started to see some light, and a few things turn in your life. Yet, what you have been reaching for is still being held up. You just can’t seem to SHAKE IT LOOSE!

Frustration is beginning to set in and you are wondering if what you were promised is worth all the trouble. The enemy starts messing with your mind, causing you to believe that God never intended for you to have it anyway.  Maybe it was you speaking to yourself and not the Lord speaking to you. All of your hopes are failing because you haven’t been able to get your breakthrough.  Therefore, you start doubting yourself, and as doubt sets in, you lose site of the dream and the vision.  And your friends aren’t of much comfort.  All you hear from them is “I told you so” and “I don’t know who you thought you were fooling”.  Well, as I told you in a previous newsletter, you can’t tell everybody your business.  Not everyone will have the vision you have; not everyone will share your excitement; and not everyone will want you to succeed.  Be prayerful before you share your vision, because when things get really tough, you don’t need negative feedback.  You need words of encouragement spoken into your life as you are trying to shake loose your blessing.  And right now that is exactly what you are going to get. 

 

When the enemy tries to convince you that he has a “Kung Fu grip” on your blessing and you will never be able to shake it loose, you will have to shut out the voice of the enemy, rise up and override him with:

I will not walk in nor listen to the negative words that people have spoken over my life. In the name of Jesus, I bind those negative words from my life and cast them out! Your Word says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  I am blessed in everything I do because I have the Word of God working in my life.

Lord, Your Word is the final authority in my life and I do not accept anything that does not live up to Your Word.  Through You Lord, I am more than a conqueror.  I have faith in the words I speak because my words are Your words, and Your Words are my words.  Therefore, I believe what You have shown me shall come to pass. I know You are able to bring to pass every Word You have spoken. Your Word comes out of my mouth, and it achieves the purpose for which You sent it. 

I believe my God has supplied all of my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I can say with boldness, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid of what man can do to me. All things are possible with You Lord and I choose to believe in You. I can trust in Your Word because it is impossible for You to lie. Let every man be a liar, and let God be true.

I live by faith, not by sight. It doesn't matter what I feel like because I reign in life through Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth has given me the authority to rule over satan and all of his evil spirits. Jesus, Your name has given me the power to tread on serpents and scorpions. Nothing they try to do can harm me. I am under Your protection. I'm not afraid of the devil or his schemes. I put on the Amour of God and I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over my life therefore, I am shielded by Your faith and power.

Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ I put on the Amour of God and I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over my life therefore, I am shielded by Your faith and power.  Father, You have given me the keys of the kingdom, and whatever I bind on earth is bound in Heaven. Whatever I loose on earth is loosed in Heaven.  Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth , I bind all forces of evil coming against me and cast them out, and in the name of Jesus, I loose all the blessings of God into my life right now!

It doesn't matter what trials come my way, I will only speak what is a good report.  And the report of the Lord says I'm healed, I'm blessed, and I have the victory through faith in Jesus Christ. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord has delivered me from them all.  I know in this world, I shall have tribulations, but I am of good cheer, because Christ has overcome the world. 

I HAVE THE VICTORY!  SHAKE IT LOOSE!

He’s got to turn it loose! The enemy is commanded in the name of Jesus to take his hands off your blessing.  Now is the time to lay aside every weight that is holding you back from shaking it loose.  I’ve seen some people go and get some help just to get a snack out of the machine.  Well, if they can go and get help just to get a snack, surely you can go to that trusted friend, your prayer partner and do some warfare praying.  SHAKE IT LOOSE!

The devil has no idea who he has messed with. He has no idea WHO is inside of you. He has to turn loose your blessing and everything else that he stole….SEVENFOLD! The Word of God says so! He’s been exposed! 

But if he is caught, he will be fined seven times as much as he stole, even if it means selling everything in his house to pay it back. Proverbs 6:31

So, just in case the turning seems to have stopped and your breakthrough seems to be caught in mid-air, I want to encourage you today not to give up but to shake it loose. You are too close to the promise. You know you can almost feel it. You get so excited sometimes you can barely contain yourself. Don’t give up! Gird yourself up with the Word of God and SHAKE IT LOOSE!

 

Talk to the Lord about His promises. Talk to Him about it when you get up, before you go to bed, all in your home, all in the street.

Father, I promise to commit Your Words to my heart, and tie them to my hands as a reminder, and will wear them on my forehead. I promise to teach them to my children, and will talk about Your Words when I am home, with my friends, when I go to bed, and when I get up. I will write them on the doorposts of my house so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, my children and I will flourish in the land You swore to give my ancestors. Deuteronomy 11:19-21

Many of us are going through a time of pressure, a time of testing, a time of not understanding what is going on in our lives. Sometimes you’ve had a tendency to turn away from God in this time of great trial instead of turning to Him for strength and help. Keeping our heart right in the times of great trial and suffering is something that does not come easy for any of us.  However, if we get the Word deep within our heart, it will drive out all doubt.

 

Let His promises forever be in your heart and on your lips.  Keep your eyes on what God promised.  Don’t stop believing. Don't stop praying. Don't stop spending time with God. Don't stop praising and worshipping Him. Do as Jacob did, stay right there, don’t turn Him loose until He blesses you. Write the vision; make it plain. Now start declaring it and receiving it in faith daily. Remind God WHY it needs to come to pass! That’s your blessing.  It’s got your name on it!  Don't let the enemy steal your vision. That first vision you had was from God. Reclaim it and let God bless YOU.  Expect it! Believe it! And receive what God has for you.

"Put me in remembrance: let us plead together; you declare, that you may be justified." [Isaiah 43:26]

I'm praying for you: that the vision God has given you will come to pass.
Start again, and remember:  If you don't quit ... you will win! But, if you quit, you can't win!  

If your plan fits into God's plan, you will have God's faith ... and God's faith always works!

 Don’t stop until you get what god has promised you.

GO FORWARD, PERSEVERE

Many individuals are at a point of pressing through darkness but they are not to lose heart because when they have pressed through the darkness of their circumstance they will give birth to a new thing that God is doing in them.  Whenever there is new birth, there is pain, for just as God told Eve that he would 'greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children', so shall we have this same process as God gives birth through us of His plans and His purposes. 

If you have been going through a time of trial - take heart!  Look to what God is birthing through it.  The enemy may have you believe this is to destroy you however; God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you.  We are to 'rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind.  Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation now that you have tasted that the Lord is good'. 

(1Peter 2:1-2).  When you are going through the darkness of transition and labour of birth, it is also an opportunity to throw off everything that would hinder you and that would keep you from entering the new - so press on and through.  Shake off the old and put on the new; be strengthened by the pureness of the Spirit of God and allow Him to nurture you through.  Seek God out.

 

GO FORWARD, PERSEVERE

NEVER GIVE UP

 

Never give up. How could you ever lose heart when you know that I am standing near? Never will I leave you alone. As long as you are in this world, I am with you. And in the end, I will take you to a better place. It is now ready. And when your time of departure comes, rejoice in the hope of an incredible eternity with Me and those who have gone before you and are born again. Therefore, do not let you hope slide even for one moment. Fight the good fight. Never give up.

Luke 18:1 "Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose
